The dreadful day had arrived.
The day that reminded them that they would never see the face that they loved smile or hear his laugh.
Honestly, the Spazio Famiglia would have preferred to stay at the mansion. But they had to do this for him. He deserved it.
Upon arriving at the cemetery, the Spazio Guardians aren't all that surprised to see their beloved boss kneeling by his grave. Her back is facing them, and her hand slowly runs across the smooth marble surface of the grave. Her Guardians can only watch with heavy hearts as the young woman buries her face in her hands, trembling. Immediately, a young man identical to her steps forth and kneels down to her, wrapping his arms around his fragile twin. He rests his chin on top of her head, closing his eyes and stroking her hair. Her sobs are clear and heartbreaking, and they can all guess what's going through her mind right now.
They were all too late that day. The day where his life was ended by the damn Millefiore. It was a year ago, and they were trying to fight off intruders. They were all separated from each other. He fought well at first, but he was eventually overwhelmed and killed. Everything had been silent as they found his cold body, too shocked to even shed a tear.
After a few hours pass, she cannot cry anymore. Gently, her younger brother tells her it's time to go, knowing that she is too fragile right now. They watch as she leans down and kisses her--supposed to be--fiance's grave. She straightens up and nods, and they gently lead her to the car. All she can do is blankly stare at her hands folded neatly in her lap, her eyes swollen and heart aching as they drive back home.
Home, which will never be the same without him.
